My article today was a reworked post from something I wrote a couple of years ago for a Five Minute Friday post. The word prompt for that week was STUCK...but really the key to the article was how we allow the fear of our circumstances to paralyze us and keep us from moving forward into the fullness of what God is calling us to.
I called on your name, O LORD, from the depths of the pit;
you heard my plea, 'Do not close your ear to my cry for help!'
You came near when I called on you; you said, 'Do not fear!'
You have taken up my cause, O Lord; you have redeemed my life. ~ Lamentations 3:55-58
Have you ever found yourself paralyzed with fear...stuck and unable to move forward?
What "rogue wave" has seemingly come out of nowhere and knocked you off your feet?
What can we do to get our footing and move forward again?
